Food Safety Level 3

Who should attend this course?

This regulated qualification is intended principally for those who are operating in a supervisory role within the catering and hospitality industry. Qualification holders will be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge of food safety legislation and effective supervision. They will also be able to take responsibility for the competency of the workforce and for identifying hazards and controls, monitoring controls and taking appropriate corrective action when necessary.

What does the course involve?

Understand the role of the supervisor in ensuring compliance with food safety legislation
Understand the application and monitoring of good hygiene practice
Understand how to implement food safety management procedures
Understand the role of the supervisor in staff training

The Level 3 Food Safety for Supervisors course and examination is accredited by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance.

Course duration:

The course is a 3 day course 9.30am to 3.30pm each day. 

Course cost:

Level 3 Food Safety Course and examination: £275

The cost of the course includes the Highfield Food Safety handbook, course materials, examination and certification costs and also lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

The course is held at our Training Centre 11 Osborne Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 1NE.
